Fido’s Tasty Treats is an independent, family-run dog treat shop on Normanton High Street in West Yorkshire.
We’re a real local shop with a dog deli-style counter, a wide choice of natural treats and chews, and an online store for customers across the UK.
At the heart of Fido’s is a simple idea: dog owners should be able to see what they’re buying, understand what’s in it and get friendly help choosing something suited to their own dog.
How Fido’s Began
We’re Billy, Sara and Zeb—the family behind Fido’s Tasty Treats.
Fido’s didn’t begin with years of retail experience or a perfect business plan. It began after we lost our jobs and had to completely rethink what came next.
We decided to build something of our own around dogs, the knowledge we’d gained and the kind of independent shop we felt the local area needed.
What started as a difficult change in direction became a real high-street business where dog owners can browse, ask questions and find far more choice than they may see in a supermarket or general pet shop.
Knowledge, Care and Practical Experience
Between us, we’ve completed qualifications and training in:
- Pet nutrition
- Dog sitting and walking
- Pet first aid
- Animal Reiki
- Animal communication
- Business management
We use this background to ask better questions, explain the differences between treats and help customers compare their options.
Every dog is different, though, and our help doesn’t replace individual advice from a vet or veterinary professional.
What You’ll Find at Fido’s
Our natural range consists of a single part of an animal with nothing else added. That means the treats in this range are 100% natural, grain-free and additive-free.
The natural range includes ears, feet, trachea, fish skins, tails, necks, tendons, pizzles and many other treats and chews across a wide variety of animal proteins.
Alongside the natural range, we also stock crafted, bagged and packed treats, training rewards, treat boxes, taster packs and dog treat hampers. These are separate ranges and their ingredients vary by product, so customers can check the individual product information before choosing.

We look for clear ingredient information, useful variety and a choice of different sizes, textures and treat types.
We don’t pretend that one treat is right for every dog. Our aim is to provide enough honest information and choice to help owners make a more suitable decision for their own dog.
Where a product is part of our natural range, it’s one animal part with nothing else added. Our other ranges are described separately so customers can see exactly what they’re buying.

Customers farther afield can order from our online range for UK postal delivery. We don’t currently operate a personal local delivery round.
